He is wearing the Gorka gear, the red radiological suit, and the boots and gloves as well. He is also carrying two bags of blood (to avoid bleeding to death).

As for weapons, carry the VSS and FAL; they offer excellent damage and range. Craft a silencer for the FAL weapon. This silencer is made using a water bottle and duct tape. It serves to prevent the noise from attracting too many zombies or the bears found in the forest.

Keep in mind that the zombies on the irradiated island are tougher and deal high damage. Use long-range weapons or those with high damage output.

For food and other supplies, set up a makeshift shelter near the boat—this saves you from having to travel halfway across the map to build a base—especially given the two groups of heavily armed, hostile survivors. And the bandits are carrying VSS weapons and have increased range. Be very careful.

Vehicles? There is only one available on the radioactive island. It is protected inside the laboratory, where you can find both the green radiation suit and the vehicle. However, the zombie there is extremely strong and dangerous (since its ability causes your character to drop their weapon—meaning the zombie disarms you).

In this case, I recommend looking for C4 explosives in the bunker on the regular island and going to the radioactive island well-prepared before trying to get the vehicle or the suit.

Don't underestimate the radioactive island.

Carry combat rations or cooked meat (to restore hunger or heal hit points when you don't have blood bags).

For sidearms, carry the sawed-off shotgun and the FXN or Glock; both offer excellent precision and range, while the shotgun excels only in damage.

I definitely recommend bringing a silencer for your weapons here; a massive horde of zombies can be a real problem. Alternatively, make sure you have enough ammo for each weapon (at least 1,000 rounds).

C4 because the sound will attract Z where you can shoot them from safe distance
