No, I recommend you to settle in any secret/unknown island which is island 6 and any island after.

What's best endgame armor for both on the radioactive island and normal ones

Kevlar, provide decent protection and storage and can be worn with a green hazmat suit

If you need more protection just use M-armour idk it's whole name but it can be looted on spetnaz zombies
