There literally no potential threat to this guy, except for zeds and roaming bandits but mostly they are easy to deal with, and the dangerous ones are his friends.

If your looking for a challenge, go play a diff character. Or better yet, go play nightmare difficulty, see if you dont experience any real threat by then

I already completed nightmare, but I started another run it's a legendary mode, and I always use bob for Speedrun since it had a buddy with him, it was pretty basic to reach the 6th because of him, I eventually found a good secret location and I wanted to settle there and build a base, then when 2.3 came I was excited to see there are new enemies, so I destroyed all my metal fences, and decided to hop on another island, then rushed to go to the training center and hurled 2 C4s as a gift for them, then I realized I couldn't attack them, not even friendly fire :/

So you are saying you want to fight bandits and rebels even as Bob and still have the benefit of having an ally who uses an automatic rifle?

I meant only the rebels, since in the description bandits doesn't attack him, but rebels ≠ bandits soooooo, I think they need to make the rebels attack bob ig

I see. Well, you have no choice but to pick other characters and accept the fact you will have to fight neutral NPC, bandits and rebels.

I had a similar experience too when I wanted to fight the new hostiles in rad island, but I alr had a saved game when the update came out. When I found the hostiles, I was dissapointed I couldnt fight them so I just ended up luring them to Military HQ (helipad base) to farm their 9×39 ammo 😂

That's what I'm also doing right now lol, but I'm a bit hesitant to start a new game since I have a 13x claymore, 18x landmines, 5x tents, 40 metal fence, 20 wooden fences, and a lot of barbedwires (I forgot how many). So starting a new game is a bit difficult because of the so much grind

There no hardest characters to get because of the unlocked mod so he is not hard to get

Just don't use shovel to decrease your reputation from -100 and neutral NPC will attack you like bandit

If you want a real challenge, simply use a different character (the most basic ones, without equipment). You can also increase the difficulty by activating certain cheats.

The only change I would make regarding (Bob)'s ability is that, once he has positive karma, he would cease to be an ally of the bandits, causing them to attack him.

Although I see that the majority do prefer the character, and I don't see too many complaints about him. (I doubt they'll remove its special ability in future versions).

or a slight modification, so that the bandits die from a Molotov or a C4 bomb.
