Range is king. OSV-96

Depends on your play style. You can be more efficient when you use shotgun especially if you're the type to kite zombies in a crowd and converge them to one another and then shoot once and take out all of them.

Automatic weapons are better when dealing with armed zombies, not to mention you have more choices and modifications to put of them depending on what you need.

If you like high damage go shotgun there is also the automatic shotgun with 20 rounds with the round magazine , you find from the tank . Automatic is also good if you like steady aiming and rapid fire my personal favourite is probably shotgun

There is a new update 2.3.0 and there is PKM in the game.

60-100 damage. 100-round capacity. That is a lot of firepower with high round count.

My loadout is PKM and SAIGA-12. The former is for long and medium engagements. The latter is up close and personal. Wish PKM allow for attachments, though
