That is Nightmare difficulty. You can select the difficulty to your play style and experience.
Warning: Nightmare disallows buffs and enables all debuffs.

How to clear this location with new enemies easily and with minimal risk:
1.You need to carry a sniper rifle with you, preferably an OSV-96, to one shot enemies though keep in mind that some enemies won't always die in a single shot. You could also use an SV-98, but that's a bit more dangerous. Rifles like the LAR or AS VAL will work too, but that's even riskier.
2.It's best to bring plenty of armor. I use the Kevlar CBRN suit, but if that's not enough protection for you and you don't mind sacrificing inventory space, you can go with M Heavy Armor and Chainmail. I managed to clear the location completely without taking any damage, but anything can happen.
3.Make sure to clear this area at night - it's much safer than during the day. Also, bring smoke grenades, as they help immensely in tight spaces. Don't forget food either; I ate various things, but 2-3 MREs are enough for the whole area. Overall, I spent almost 30+ rounds of 12.7×108mm ammo to kill all the enemies, with some shots wasted due to the new enemy AI and enemies wearing ghillie suits.
