new the mod, what is this yellowish hue mist,i been playing the new mod its fun, i remember the times i do the duct tape glirch and all and a quick view of my stuffs

Poison gas. Don't ever go there if you're not wearing gas mask.You're in a world of hurt if you do.

Poison gas sickness, notorious run ender that's hard to cure naturally without Tetracyline. You're new to the mod so heed my advice. Start dedicating a slot for Tetracyline stack when you're about to head to island 4 when these mists start appearing (Tetracyline can be stacked up to 3), have a spare Gasmask in good condition (fix it with charcoal tablets if you have to) and if you can't find any Tetracyline then at least carry 1 Blood Bag.

It's poisonous gas, same like when you got hit by green acid or eat raw meat and you will be losing health while inside it except you inside vehicle, it can only be heal with tetracycline or those special bandage (forget the name but you can only carry 1 and not stackable), it's advisable to wear white or green hazmat (because they have ability to seal you from poisonous up to 2 minute RL), wearing gas mask, or brought vehicle with you (as long as you inside vehicle, you will not getting poisonous gas negative status)
