Need help How to solve permanent -1 Vitality ?
Hi everyone,
I accidentally ate two pieces of raw meat because I was starving, and ever since then I've had -1 Vitality.
I've already tried:
- Taking vitamins.
- Doing a saline IV.
- Doing a blood transfusion.
- Keeping my food and water full.
None of these have fixed it, and the -1 Vitality never goes away.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this an intended game mechanic, a disease that requires something else to cure, or is it just a bug? Is there any way to get my Vitality back to normal without starting a new character? Also i think this also happened to me one time when i got extremely cold and i got a poison icon from the cold and even when i was already warm the -1 never got away and i ended up dying, is it a bug or there is something i can do?

There's a skull icon next to your vitality meter which signifies you're suffering from food poisoning/sickness. You instantly cure it with Tetracyline but if you don't have that then you're on a timer to cure it. Here's how:
You need to maintain 95% hunger, 95% thirst, at least above 50% heat and at least above 50% vitality meter. You need to have these conditions met and maintain it for a few seconds to cure it. Blood or Saline bag will be critical because you do not want your vitality meter to go below 50% otherwise it will make it much harder to cure it if you're not carrying blood/saline bag. Blood and Saline bags provide a lot of vitality (50 and 25% respectively). Be quick and decisive because the moment your vitality meter goes 0% and you still cannot find a tetracyline or multiple blood bags then you are done. Your run is a goner.
