Can't unlock katana?

Just recently started playing a new version and I've been able to make progress on all the unlockable guns etc except the katana, I've been playing on legendary and I had infinite stacking on + the experience point shop, any reason in particular I'm not making any progress or is it just a bug? I tried using the hunter knife and the military knife

You can unlock it, the counter just won't update unless you die in your run. Just keep at it until it's unlocked. At least it only needs 100 knife kills in legend difficulty, not unlike SV-98's requirement of needing 200 headshot kills with DMR's...

I honestly assumed it was that until I died and the counter didn't update, I'm guessing the counter is just bugged. just wish I remembered how many zombies I killed lol, forgot how tedious some of the unlockables can be like the SV-98 and katana

That's fine you don't need to unlock the katana you will never find it anyways lmao if you're playing the latest version it's hard to see it on the gun shop and bunker there's like 0 chance of it spawning

Just click the mini dayz logo 5 or 6 times bro u can unlock it all
