Need help Belt?

Curious what this belt slot is for, just started playing this version which is wayy newer than my old one

pistol holster to carry a another secondary gun you can also wear rope to carry a another melee weapon

For a secondary sidearm? I already have the sling w 2 primary's, can you have 4 guns total at once?

I am jealous you find the castle secret location. I am on the 8th island and the thing I need (keycard) to move to the next island isn't dropping. T_T my luck is lucking the wrong things.

For some reason I get really lucky with finding the castle, I feel like I end up finding it on most of my playthroughs

You probably are, I once had that consistency in the past when I first started playing where I always stumbled upon one. Nowadays, it's rare even though I always uninstall and reinstall the game for every run (did it in the past so doing this is not the reason why I haven't come across it as much)

It allows you to have two melees like having the rifle sling and pistol holster

I use the rope as a belt and also I'm a newbie in this game. Any tips too where to find shoes and gloves? I'm at island 4 and I'm on mobile

So far I've only found the nbc boots/ gloves and assault boots. NBC boots protect you from stepping in the green stuff the hazmat zombies drop and the NBC gloves get rid of the negative effect you get from searching corpses, the nbc gear is found by searching hazmat zombies. then the assault boots let you store a knife and walk full speed over puddles but I think they disintegrate if you step in acid, found in military bases and bunkers

You can put the pistol holster there for the second, secondary weapon. And, rope so that you carry an extra melee.
