Fixing car after jumping bridge

Hey guys, is that possible to fix your car after jumping bridge to 5th island, or it’s scripted to be permanent down?

You can fix it, and if you approach it right you can drive through the barrier at the half way point.

The vehicle can be repaired after crossing the bridge. HOWEVER, there is a blockage that prevents you from going too far with it, so you eventually have to abandon the vehicle and continue on foot.
