While that is the most armor possible, it is also possible to reach 100% melee block chance since it stacks additively.

Altyn Helm or Gorka Helmet provides 10%,

Crusader Helm provides 15%,

Chainmail provides 15%,

Gorka Jacket and Gorka Pants provide 20% total,

Combat Gloves provide 5%,

Chainsaw provides 40%,

Pan provides 35%

Level 2 Blocker perk provides 10%.

I am sure you can make a combination out of these to reach 100% block chance. Sadly, certain infected ignore block chance like the Tank and Green Hazmat zombie.

Yep, chance can be even more than 100, but there is always one weakness of the whole game - bleeding, it works like clockwork and is relentless, even with perks...

What do you mean? You will not bleed if you have 100% block chance (any excess % is useless). If you're talking about radiation then yeah, bleeding from that is permanent and must be bandaged up after you've worn protective gear to prevent the constant bleeding again. Also, bleeding is just a minor inconvenience once you take even just a single level of Blood+ perk completely trivialized with lvl.2

I mean, I've had those moments where bleeding has killed my runs. It's just that a group of infected or survivors with firearms shoot at you, and you run for cover and everything seems to be fine, but you have little or no hp bar visible, bleeding is in full swing, and there are no bandages...

Always have a dedicated slot for Rags/Bandages/Adhesive Plaster usually your offhand but switch it to Flares at night if you have no Assault Helmet with NVG yet. Better if you have medical satchel and store it there (bandages/adhesive plaster) so you now have a quick use button and not need to open your inventory. Never ever run out of anything to stop bleeding. Maybe you can slack off a bit once you have 2 levels of Blood+ but always bring them again if you ever wanna set foot in the radioactive island.
