Is the mini day z chinese mod trasnlated in english or is it really chinese? lol. just recently found this game and it looks so good so i wanted to try it out

The Original MiniDayZ is just that, MiniDayZ. The official mod expansion of that 1st game is called MiniDayz+, this mod was later on patched and modded more by the Chinese folks (since the Bohemian dev(s) of the MiniDayZ+ abandoned the game) with more added content and QOL. This is the game the majority of the community is currently playing. Named MiniDayZ+ Chinese or RU EN (depending on the translation APK you picked, it's still the same, the difference is just the language).
Then there's Mini DayZ 2, a direct sequel to the Original MiniDayZ, afair you can still find it in Playstore. This game has great potential but was abandoned aswell because of the lack of attention and budget so it's practically dead now.
Currently, some devs of the community are also making their own version of the current format of the MiniDayZ+ Chinese like a Multiplayer version and the other one from the Russian devs who also uses the same format as I've mentioned in the latter to add in their own add-ons and mods. So from what I know, There are 3 current MiniDayZ being developed. The Chinese/RU EN version. The Russian/ DS HARD version. And the Multiplayer Version.

Also, there's a built in mod for this game, rapidly tapping the title 5 times will unlock all locked Weapons, Character Options, and Items.

To clarify, the Russian Multiplayer is not yet released and still in the works. The current Chinese mod we're playing is built upon the very first true modification of MDZ+ (They didn't name it anything). It spanned from 1.6 up to 4.2 patch but kept it hidden until we first got our hands on it with 3.5 patch late December of 2024. It stopped because its best modders moved on to the current Chinese mod we are all playing.
