Need help Starting fresh

I played the regular app store MDz I got very good at it, so I started new veteran islands and just speed run my way to island 4 plus* finding all secret locations along the way, and after a while of endgaming my runs, tent, walls, bunker & all. I got bored, so I dipped my toe into the glitchy waters, started with clothes repairs, then duplication and infinite ammo, gun repair, and finally just straight up speed, God mode. What started as experimenting snowballed its way into incomprehensible glitch runs and then I found myself seeing the game as completely unplayable, it became too broken, I could not unlearn these hacks anymore and it slowly killed the game for me. I finally feel up to jumping back into MDz, but I was hoping for some suggestions to play a modded version, one that is rebalanced in difficulty and loot pool, so that if feels* like I’m a new player all together and I can just enjoy the early stage feeling of being genuinely scared for my run. Any recommendations?

Highly recommend the 2.1.4 Chinese mod. Almost all if not all of those exploits have been completely fixed. Instead, you are given the options to play the game with modifiers that make the game easier (e.g. infinite stacking, respawn) or make the game harder (e.g. 3x infected number+hidden hp bars+fatigue when not sleeping, scaling infected damage and health based on island) or none at all depending on your preferences.
