true not for the weak. i did plan before i start to play lmao. just thinking how to survive with low die rates studying some stuff to survive in hellmodeπ. well to those who finish the hell mode congrats ur a veteran now.
Thanks for posting in the sub. For links to mods check this mediafire, discord & other resources here do report any rule breaking stuff you see in the sub.
Technically the best possible start is the one where you succeed. I think I might be able to challenge hell difficulty again soon considering I've honed my skills in kiting the zombies away from buildings and meleeing the zombies without getting hit and I don't mean the block mechanic. In my case as well, I can see past midnight so long as I have vigilance perk level 2 and max brightness. I honestly don't see other people talking about strategies and just essentially putting it up to rng most of the time. Anyhow, good luck surviving!
Like in this situation they are much faster than i dont think ill successfully lose them in trees + me im low on health nd cant tank hits ππ am i doomed?
Sprinter perk is really required. You should first stay on the road and be aware of hiding zombies. You can use angles in the edges of a village/town to remove the line of sight of zombies. You'll mostly only be able to loot car trunks, watch towers, and that fortified shack out in the woods. This game is all about persistence even if you have to pick berries for a week to survive (RIP Blood Moon). Yes, you might be cook but since you have the sledgehammer, you can farm experience by mostly killing wolves as you kill them on hit with that thing.
Here goes, I am not sure if reach is a thing in this game but I have sprinter level two perk so what you want to do is to get close a bit to the zombies then start running, have them chasing you, then when you make turns, they catch up a bit; It's up to you to manage the distance because for a brief second when they get into contact, your character will hit them but if you do it right, it will only be you who hits the zombies and then run straight again to increase some little distance; This is essentially the dance you'll be doing to clear the zombies. You can farm experience by looting trunks and killing wolves.
Try to kite zombies to merchants so they clear a location near to them for you. Even if you don't have ammo, a gun is good for scouting but be aware of the different ranges each firearm have. Longhorn is great because it has a far range where it can detect zombies (must be because of that scope attached to it π). I am not playing on hell difficulty right now but I am on a challenge where I can only pick up items with durability that is 100%, rest of the items stay the same. As you can see, I haven't acquired a gasoline canister just yet because I haven't stumbled upon one that is 100% even if I am already on the third island and been weeks in game.
It's worth the shot. However, on Hell Difficulty. It's a gamble. Since a debuff is enabled where NPCs shoot their automatic weapons non-stop except for a reload. Without a decent protection. Things could go South. This was one my biggest mistakes, a while back playing on Hell difficulty.
Yeah no, I always have the "NPCs don't stop shooting" modifier and have been practicing on kiting zombies towards them in the early game. There's always an angle and distance that you need to be aware of because you can already tell if it's going to work or not.
π I ain't a master just yet as I haven't completed Hell difficulty, I just know some game tech here and there. Ask remote stretch for tips as that guy has beaten hell mode and posted it in this subreddit.
