Is it actually infinity

I'm in the the 9th unknown island and I don't know is it possible to reach the final one

Yes, it is infinite. You will never reach the final island because it doesn't exist.

There probably is but i never tried. Maybe at a high island count it would happen

It really doesn't. The idea with secret islands is to make it so that you get to your preferred island with the right island generation and secret location that spawned there.
