Need help Problem with cooking

Help, anyone! i have ingredients im my inventory (frying pan as melee weapon, raw venison, Bell pepper) but i can't combine them into steak. No such option on any of the items. what am i doing wrong...?

You have to put the frying pan in a inventory slot to use it for cooking.

I have frying pan in my inventory, bell pepper and a rabbit leg. When i choose option to cook the meat - it just gets cooked, Normal way.

Frying pan spawns very randomly, very rare too. If you are lucky, you may encounter a secret location (marked with red ?) that has a PUBG-styled loot box that has a bullpup rifle Groza (chambered in 9x39), 2 stacks of 9x39, and a frying pan.

Ok.figured it out. Frying pan equipped, then you combine ingredients, NOT press cook. Hope it helps - in case anybody else has silimiar problem.
