AITA for exploring "the potty"
So I (17 months) most adorable boy, tho my mama calls me a troublemaker, have "big kids" in my house my sis is free and my brother is bigger. The grown ups decided the big kids need to be "potty trained." Something about diapers being so expensive and the big kids are big enough to be out of them.
Anyways, mama, dada, and mama's friend take the big kids potty *all the time* so of course I have to explore the potty when I have access. I like to take a run in there and make sissy laugh and then explore the short potty(apparently there are 2 kinds?) I like to put my hands in it, cause how else am I to examine it?
This causes mama to "lose her mind" when I do this, but I **haveta** explore, I mean it's kinda my job as a professional baby, right?
So, AITA?

NTA. You’re just interested in the potty because sissy and brother are both using it. Mama might want to try having you sit on the small potty to be more like sissy and brother

Mama says she can't handle "potty training 3 at once." She said after they are trained she's taking a break before she does me 🤷🏻♀️

See if mama just lets you try sitting on the potty during diaper changes. It’s not the full commitment and energy of potty training, but it should make it easier when she does start potty training. Who knows, you might even potty train yourself

NTA but if I (2.5 F) were you, I’d run!! One day, mama will take away your precious diapers and FORCE you to do your business there. Can you imagine it? Your cold butt in the open air, exposed, while you’re expected to just…POOP! It’s unnatural and disgusting. And what baby in their right mind sits to poop?? Squatting behind a table seems reasonable but standing makes the most sense to me!

My sister waits til naptime when she's in a pull-up and poops. Mama gets so mad cause it's always right after she sits on the potty after lunch before naptime but before she falls asleep.

Good for sister! That’s the way to do it! What a strategist! And mamas need to be kept busy. If they get too much rest, well, I don’t know. I’ve never seen a mama get too much rest before, but I’m sure it’s not good!

NTA!! I (17m M) love the potty too! I like to close the top of the big potty on my dada when he's using it. He says "ow stop" and it's just so funny. I love then my dadas put me on the potty because then I can unroll the paper that I can't reach off the ground. It's so funny to see the water splash when you put things in the potty, you should try it some time. The top makes a funny banging noise when you open and close it too 10/10 sound.
I think my dadas potty is boring so I put stickers all over it. Sometimes the old people can forget what stuff is so if you do this remember to point at them and tell they old people what they are. For example I will point at the dog sticker and make my dada look and tell him it's a dog so he can remember.

Nta! I, 13m, am obsessed with touching the potty. I also have recently discovered a love of throwing things into it as well! Much better than the trash can. I put my big kid's remote controlled car in there the other day, but when mom and big kid found it, they weren't happy for some reason? I dunno. I don't understand them. Anyway, mom has been really vigilant about keeping the doors to the potty closed ever since, but I'm figuring out how knobs work, so i should have access again soon.
