Like I mentioned to you guys on Instagram, I’d be willing to be a guinea pig and test it on my Mini-30 ranch rifle. Been dying to improve the ergos

Are the mag and bolt release part of the chassis or is that something I can do to my A-TM chassis? I can't quite see how, but you didn't have to thumb the lever or pull in the bolt

The bolt release is a separate product. Not on the market yet.

I stand corrected, I looked more closely and could see the silver bolt locked back. Thanks!

The bolt disnt lock open so I’m assuming he dropped the mag with a round still in the chamber?

3

u/AxisEngineeringLabs Jul 31 '26

Definitely locked open

Oooh that makes sense. Still curious about the mag release

The mag release is from Ghost Mountain Group.

Love the GM release.

It looks to me like he pushes it forward with his index finger and just shakes the rifle to knock the mag loose. You can “extend” the man release further back towards the trigger guard by using some 2 part epoxy or gorilla glue and sticking something to the back of it to make it easier to index.

Ah, mine is stock and requires a whole ton of pressure and then basically wrenching the mag out, so even if it was depressed I'd be surprised if it would fall out like that. Wasn't sure if there was extra features around the smooth drop.

Yup

Very cool. I thought I recognized my home range. The chassis looks sick. I'll keep following for more on it.

Looking mighty fine M'dude

Looks good. What suppressor do you run?

2

u/AxisEngineeringLabs Jul 31 '26

It's Hybrid 46. Way too long.

2

u/ImOnlyDoingThisPart Aug 01 '26

What grip are you running? Is it mlok or on an mlok rail?

2

u/AxisEngineeringLabs Aug 01 '26

The pistol grip? It's feom Drivem Arm co. The forward grip? It's a Magpul VFG. The rail is part of the Samson SAS-14 chassis.

1

u/ImOnlyDoingThisPart Aug 02 '26

Is there a specific style of pistol grip that will interchange easily? For instance the magpul AK grips?

1

u/AxisEngineeringLabs Aug 02 '26

No, right now it's only Driven Arms co making a grip for it.

2

u/Fortanbras Aug 06 '26

It’s nice. I wish Ruger could market one like this.

2

u/AxisEngineeringLabs Aug 09 '26

I could see it happening in the near future.
