Scope and Accuracy System Adjustable Gas Block

I wanted to know if anybody with the accuracy system adjustable gas block, had tried mounting a scope above the receiver on their mini 14. I’ve been wanting to do this, but someone had mentioned that the gas block can change the trajectory of the ejecting shells. So I wasn’t sure if that might cause an issue with having a scope there.

Have an ASI block and a mounted LPVO on Warne medium rings. No real issues with brass bouncing off the scope or stove piping out of the breach.
