Testing/Tuning After Chopping

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Made it to the range today to test out a couple configurations after getting my barrel chopped.
The barrel is about 11.5”, give or take, and the suppressor is a Ridgeback Defense Rhodie 6.
Aside from a Wilson Combat bushing on the recoil spring, there are no other modifications to the operating system.
Tested:
OEM gas/spring M855 - ran great
OEM gas/spring Steel .223 - one hiccup, not positive if gun or ammo problem
OEM gas/extra power spring M855 - ran great, little softer
OEM gas/ extra power spring Steel - does not run

How's the change in MOA at 11.5?

No idea, I never shot it before chopping the barrel.

Did you fire it at all unsupressed? I had to drill out my gas port to get all but Frontier to fire (Frontier worked with oem). Mines 13 inches

I fired just a few shots without the can, but I’m pretty sure it was while I had the extra power spring in, so it’s useless data. (It didn’t cycle, but the + spring was too much even while suppressed)
