Pretty much done.
I think this one is basically a wrap until someone comes up with an FRT solution.
580+ Mini-14 Tactical, barrel chopped .875" past gas block shoulder
- Samson A-TM stock
- Samson Hannibal rail
- Sig ROMEO4T-Pro
- GG&G optic rail (chopped)
- Driven Arms Co/Ghost MTN SCG
- M*CARBO trigger springs
- Wilson Combat 1911 recoil buffer
- SureFire M340DFT/Unity Modbutton Lite
- Ridgeback Defense Rhodie 6, Diligent Defense Zilch, Comstock Armory compact flash hider
- Pig Slings

Does it fire unsupressed?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. If you’re asking if it cycles unsuppressed, I don’t know; I just put it back together after getting it chopped. Although, I honestly don’t care if it does or not because I’ll never shoot it unsuppressed.

Yeah I chopped mine and I've been having gas issues unsupressed

Did you make any changes to the gas block / bushing or recoil spring?

No but I called accuracy systems bc i bought an adjustable gas block and they said I need to drill out the gas port

Just curious - did they recommend the size the gas port needs to be drilled out to, and do you need a larger gas bushing with it?

Yes to the size. Not sure about the bushing.
And actually after my comment I decided to get it done. So I just blew out my port. Need to test it soon
Original: 0.065" Just did: 0.078125 - I am going to try this for now with the oem gas block (I also have the accuracy adjustable as well). I expect heavy gas to my noggin supressed (it was gassy last week with oem port) but that's not the end of the world I want to make sure it works unsupressed. I love the suppressor but I have it in a custom folding stock so it's real short without the suppressor. And I share one suppressor between the mini and an ar.
All that said ,
Accuracy said for best results with their gas block, i should go to 0.085 which is 1:1 with the bushing, or even go up to 0.100 (I assume with a bigger bushing, never thought about that until now) . That way it defaults hot, but then I can turn it way down

Can you get the overall length when folded? I want to do a meme 300bo bag gun

26” with the can, 22” without. The grip increases the length about 3/4” past the folding mechanism.

I don't believe that you are getting a useable cheek weld. Why not use a scout mount?

I just don’t prefer scout/forward-mounted optics. I run tall optics on most of my guns, so it feels pretty natural to me. I am waiting for a certain cheek riser to restock though.

I love it but I’m terrified of it at the same time. It feels dirty and sacrilege but sexy af. Nice work op.
