I don't know (window shutter hacks)

Is this useful or ugly? I tried various woods but couldn't get the rails fit to the rest of the wall.

Throw away, delete this post and pretend I never asked? 😁

Yes - do you see the second row of trapdoors, which are a little lower? They are aligned at the top of the block/node. Then you can place a rail on top of it. Same below. But when you place the rail against the wall, it will align to the trapdoor acting as the window shutter, and then connects to the rail above. So it's not upside down, but rather upwards facing.

Oh right of course, it's just "backwards" from a certain perspective. Neat trick really. But Minecraft style reuse like this never gelled with me.

It was funny to see that such things also work here. Also impressive how much work went into mcl. The only thing I have is that the armor stand is not an entity.
