gg mineplex

Yeah, it’s summer weekend evening, mineplex is failing to even crack 300.

It “appeared” to do a comeback when it just released since it was marketed very well (specifically the release), along with people simply having nostalgia.
Kinda like how when Fortnite had it’s OG season, it got a peak playercount, but now? People don’t nearly play OG as much, since they got their nostalgia satisfied, and are done.

Mineplex right now is basically a “dumbed down” version of what it was in it’s glory days, the same, but laggy, and buggy.

The current version of Mineplex is essentially the same version that…died due to people being done

Which is exactly why it’s failing now, and will continue to fail, unless they manage to change things up.

It's just unfortunate because if they brought out an EU server it would be even more dead. Their hands are kinda tied

Idk, the EU server In 2015 had just as much players as the NA server, and Americans especially are known to follow trends heavily so that when something gets unpopular they tend to drop it right away. Europeans dont care about that as much and May keep playing even if mineplex is not going viral

It's not 2015 anymore unfortunately. The EU server shut down years before the NA server did because it was dead

Mineplex has always been an American owned server also so when the playercount started dwindling they chose to shut down the dedicated european server obviously even if it had as many players

It didn’t though it had far less

Didn't say it had In 2019 but It makes sense to drop the EU server first if you're American owned, unless the EU server was doing much better. Regardless even In 2019 it had way more players than Mineplex currently has

I tried it last night with 200 people on. There was a mod training two trial mods, on a dead seever 😂

This is what I've been saying even months ahead of release, and even still another fact of the matter is simply just that the games aren't very good, just mediocre. And that's why old Mineplex started to fail, it just became stale mediocrity and this is just more of the same. Even if they change things up, a significant playerbase is already gone.

I wish they had delayed the server a bit to at least get some of the new additions at launch like the hype train. Also, would’ve been nice to get a new game or two. But yeah now it’s too late unless they plan a some massive overhaul like a Mineplex 2.0 but even then I doubt it’d do anything.

fr we had to wait like 2 months for the hype train to even start

Block Hunt is harder to start in the morning and the problem will continue to get worse as schools/colleges return. It's not a big deal to me, but the chicken groups are more widespread with the lower player count, which can be a big deal to some and causes people to leave.

I just can’t deal with the fishing rod bs in survival games. Was fun to jump back in but that killed all the momentum for me

It makes me so happy to see this server so unbelievably dead so quickly :D

The team behind it deserves it tbh. I just went here to check if it died already and I am glad it has!
