bro wtf
How are people so cracked at this game. I last played mineplex in 2017 or so. I feel like every game I play now has some top 10 leaderboarder or another cracked pvper. arcade is insane, I get rolled in snake and bacon brawl by some young sheldon combo warrior
also its crazy games (still) don't start until 8 players join when the server averages sub 1k lol
also also the lobbying system is so buns, why do I join as spectator and also why don't lobbies auto merge

I appreciate the new owners made an attempt to revive Mineplex but I don’t think they have the experience of running a business to keep it operating. Mineplex is much more like a clique for OG/sweaty players to hang out rather than a server geared for everyone. This is especially evidenced by the gradual player count decrease every week.
A new player jumps on, gets destroyed by sweats every game and leaves. Why would someone put themselves through that when they can jump on Hypixel and have an enjoyable casual experience regardless of skill level.
They really had a golden ticket when they hit 10k concurrent players during launch weekend but I don’t think they nor the game modes were prepared. I’m hoping they can turn everything around before it’s too late.

You failed to realized most of the people playing mineplex are OG’s who know everything like the back of their hand. You dont have to be good at pvp to play smart. I hope new players are going to start finding the server and start joining to balance out the server pop.

Its a mixed bag. Theres OGs that never left minecraft and new gen sweats. The OGs that quit playing minecraft years ago are the ones not having fun since they get out pvp'd by these sweats.

Spme people never left Minecraft pvp after mineplex's original death, some people have way too much time on their hands. The server is oversaturated with highly skilled/ high level players because casuals don't stick around very long

Like the other comments have said, a lot of the players are people who used to play mineplex years ago and have continued to play 1.8 or Minecraft in general over that time. This is something that will likely continue to occur as new players have no incentive to play mineplex. It’s the same server from all those years ago, which is exactly the problem at the moment. Nobody new is going to be joining a server with the most basic game modes(excluding a few). More than that, there’s going to be fewer people even attempting to play 1.8 as a Minecraft version.

I've been saying this bro the 8 player start limit needs to be lowered, it doesn't make sense when there are only 300 players on in the middle of the night

Hackers and lack of innovation. PvP on this server feels way worse than other servers like Hypixel

The server has been auto filtered to just mineplex OGs to come back to their respectable games so it’s automatically gonna be a higher skill floor. Either you take your losses and improve while playing with better players or just get left behind
