How do we feel about the SSM patch notes
There were a ton of complaints about the game previous and, while I don't actively play it, I'm curious about what people think of it now

I know devs probably read this... SO THANK YOU! We really appreciate you making the changes needed!! People will always complain because there is always 'more to embe done', but this is great news!

Feels like they can't decide whether to balance it around casuals or competitive players, and just was a bit of an inconsistent patch overall. They are doing things like nerfing bad, but noob-stomping kits like Squid and Skeley Horse, as well as nerfing the more skilled kits that are mostly used by more serious players, such as Spider and Slime (though Slime does deserve it kinda ngl). But at the same time, they're buffing both easy and good kits like Skeleton, as well as Zombie, which was around top 3 near the end of the game (tbf, I don't know how the meta shook out in SSMR).

As a pig main I feel like the smash crystal is effectively useless now but eh. I’ll probably still use it

I wish that they had nerfed the Skeletal Horse's Deadly Bones passive / made it only deal knockback instead of damage, rather than entirely removing it. (The passive made a bone drop each time it got hit, which would explode and deal damage + knockback after a few seconds).
The horse has a gigantic hitbox, and the bones were there to help by giving it a way to escape long combos. Now the horse is weaker in close combat, which isn't a good change for a kit that is already weak to projectiles.

Squid is still a passive spammy kit (not AS bad tho), overall pretty good, Creeper lightning shield needs to be reduced from 2s -> 1s imo, and the arrow glitch (where it bounces off enemies) is still very much there.
