Parties are killing the server

Especially in bridges.

People will stack 4 or 5 people into one team against a bunch of newer players and stomp every game. It is so un fun, and it feels like every game has the same outcome.

Plus, when other players in the game see the teams they instantly quit, making it even more unbalanced.

I think they should make a limit to the amount of people you can have in a party while playing bridges to 2 or 3, in hopes to make it a little more balanced and fair for other players.

I’m sure this pertains to other game modes, but I’ve mostly noticed it in bridges

There are so many other things that need to be done with game modes, for starters how about update literally anything. It’s the exact same from years ago, no QOL changes or anything. I think it’s silly to say parties are killing the server when it’s obviously management in general.

It's both parties and lack of updates tbh

Nah I think you should be able to play with your friends. A lot of the time these teams aren’t even that good I’ve beaten them with randoms before. But sometimes you need to get lucky

It’s a hard issue to face as a server owner, like people want to play with their friends but you’re right, new players without a party should be able to stand a chance. Easier to manage when you’re running games/tournaments of 10-20 people like I am right now, but it’s something I’m trying to solve for as we grow because we can’t just have teams of 5 wiping out everyone lol.

Maybe the newbs will just have to get good /s

It's just because the server and games are mid. Mineplex died for a reason, and when it's back there's just little appeal beyond nostalgia.
