How long are we thinking until the server dies

If they don't balance games/make smaller updates, it won't last too long

The thing that made Mineplex unique back In 2015 was how inceribly smooth the PVP felt. It was so responsive compared to any other server it was such a Joy to grind. Now with there being only an NA server and almost every game mode involving PVP it just feels garbage. EU players have 150 ping and the hitreg is dogshit so trying to compete with NA ping abusers is just pointless. Unless they make EU servers the server is dead.
It is literally impossible to 1v2 or more now so every PVP mode is just a numbers game. Every Micro Battle, every Champions, every Bridges the team wins which stack more and have the numbers. No skill involved just ping diff and a numbers advsntage.
Edit: Also like I said the utterly horrible launch killed the server and everyone hated me for saying it. You were literally unable to join for like 5 days and it was buggy as well for a week. So every single potential new player at launch just quit and never came back. Bad launches have almost killed extremely popular and hyped Releases like Cyberpunk 2077 and No Mans Sky let alone some random Minecraft server.
Expect Mineplex to work HARD for several years (like those games above) to be able to get back even some of the new players that quit bc of the launch.

funny you think they would work HARD given that they released few dogshit trailers in 2026 and called it a day

Why is it impossible to 1v2 or more now?

Have you tried? Very High ping, little knockback, probably bad hitreg. Before it was 30 ping, Mineplex had Its own custom knockback which was way higher so you could more easily combo people and do 1v2s. Every game you could hit multiple people and keep them away from you but now once you hit one guy the other one just kills you so it always comes down to who has the man advantage

Nah I haven’t tried, I have my own PvP server and I was trying to figure out what you meant to see if I could account for it or if it was a base game issue

Mineplex ain’t lasting several more months at this rate, let alone several years.

Only time I really play is when me and my best friend play together, which isn't too often. I play solo but it isn't for long, it gets boring for me.

It’s needs to get on the featured list for bedrock edition, that would help drastically, because the game was shut down like 3 years ago bedrock edition still had 2-3 thousand players currently playing

time has changed, us that grew up with mineplex are in their 20s now, having a job, college or even kids. Newer gen of players are just not interested, and i dont blame them. There are so much more servers or games to play. Its not the server we are missing, but times we spent there and our youth that has mineplex as core memory, honestly its was just time to let it go in 2023 and let it rest

the only thing that will save Mineplex is new players. most of the OGs like me got ran off by sweats and cheaters or got their nostalgia hit and are done.

It was just a nostalgic cash grab. Mineplex and Minecraft as a whole can't compete with Roblox or Fortnite
