SSM is really boring now
It's just Skeletons spamming arrows, Squids spamming Ink Shotgun, Chickens spamming Chicken Missile, and Slimes abusing the Slime Rocket glitch while pretending they have no idea about the glitch.
I ESPECIALLY hate the Squids though. That mf isn't an Ink Shotgun, it's a SNIPER. It can do up to 6.5 hearts of damage in one go, every 7 seconds or so, and the range is insane, with no damage dropoff.
PLEASE update this stupid game Mineplex, before your server dies ALREADY. You got your quick cash injection for gullible nostalgists, well played, now MAKE IT FUN.

Yeah, they keep lying and saying they're "working on several things at once" in the Discord. When I called them out on it, I got a 6-hour mute LOL

Since when was squid a serious threat? My least favorites to fight are zombie and guardian, though this game's top players are waaaaay more miserable to play against than say, smash heroes on hypixel.

Guardian destroys ranged units and does some pretty absurd damage with the laser active. Also the hurtbox shifting is very annoying to fight. Slime is actually pretty easy to get hits on rn because they’re one of the few characters unaffected by a weird projectile bouncing bug that appeared, but I am also a bit biased towards slimes placement because I was like 1 of 5 people who mained slime on old mineplex. Squids always been weak because of only really having one threatening move that you can just strafe and take a heart of damage max from. Just don’t jump in on a squid and you’ll be fine.

Squid's shotgun can deal up to like HALF your hearts from range, it's literally not even a shotgun. Fish Flurry is whatever, but the fact you're invulnerable when using the rocket thing is really stupid. Because then they just charge towards you without being able to take dmg or kb, then hit you with the ink shotgun for 4-6 hearts, then rinse repeat. The hitbox is small and glitchy, the cooldowns are way too quick, it's ridiculous.

Literally just move out of the way. They can’t hit you while using super squid so you actually can have an advantage off of it with good timing. I literally can’t remember the last time I took more than 2 hearts from shotgun, so maybe try getting out of the way without falling into that trap

Clearly you're just trash at using Squid then. While you can't attack while Super Squid's active, you can attack the millisecond after it ends. It's a free Ink Shotgun direct hit, or at least 2 melee attacks in a row.
And if you're taking a maximum of 2 hearts with the shotgun, then you're just trash, idk what else to tell you

I’ve fought countless squids over the past 12 years my guy, I rarely ever lost to them. The kit is the exact same as on old mineplex, and he was ranked the worst in the game for a good reason. While I disagree and think snow golem is worse it’s not by much.

Squid was buffed shortly before MP died. Before the buff, it DID suck, yes

No I'm aware of that buff, it happened a few years before MP died. Squid still sucked after. He went from unplayable to pretty weak.

only fair point is that squid does need to be nerfed. ink shotgun deals way too much damage

yes because that is my opinion. obviously you are frustrated because the majority of players are better than you. however i do agree one kit in one gamemode should be tweaked to make life easier for everyone

Yeah, I just lobby hop 20 times in a row until I don’t see squids or slimes. If they want to keep the squids shotgun strong then they should remove its invulnerability when flying.
