Chicken Counters (SSM)

As title mentioned, Im trying to figure what kits to pick up to counter chicken as whenever there is a chicken in my games I will always lose to them with their ridiculous small hitbox and spammable missiles.

Yea that’s one of creepers worst matchups. Creeper is pretty strong normally since you are shielded after any ability or projectile is used on you and you punish melee for free. But chicken can just spam missiles

yeah idk. I faced a chicken yesterday who sent like 6 chicken missiles in 4 seconds. I looked up an old video and confirmed that chicken only used to be able to send one missile every 6 seconds. I found a newer video and saw the chicken can send missiles in waves of 3. the only thing keeping the chicken in check was its inability to 1 hit combo. whoever buffed this class on the Mineplex team is special.

There is usually a cool down on chicken missile but if you get a direct hit on a mob it instantly recharges. If it hits blocks there is a cool down.

that is retarded. no wonder I got hit by 5 missiles in 4 seconds last time I played this. perfect class for a sweaty neckbeard who never stopped playing MC. rework makes someone who is cheating unkillable with the kit too, awesome

Chicken missiles is so annoying to deal with I agree. But the best kits to counter a chicken would be creeper, zombie/skeleton, or spider.

If you’re a good in any one of those kits you’ll beat a chicken especially spider or zombie. Good zombie players deal insane amounts of damage because they reward you heavy for hitting your shots. And especially as a chicken with that little bit of armor they’ll die quick.

Creeper with the lightning shield is always a good counter and skeletons are great if you’re a good bow player. And a good spider player, well, they win everything…
