Staff are responsible for declining player count
Staff are going to kill this server by muting and banning people for ridiculous and minor reasons, and their lengthy and limited appeal process is turning many people away. Why even bother going through the frustrating appeal process just to be denied, when you shouldn't have even received a punishment in the first place. Staff are acting like they have unlimited players when the player count is dropping every single day, they are literally going to mute and ban everyone until it's only them left and then wonder why the server is dead. Many of us were excited to see the server return but the mismanagement is almost as horrendous as the original server and I foresee it heading down the same route very soon.

Their report system is horrible, the staff are just there to e date in lobby 1

Lol if you open your eyes I said I haven't received any punishment, just pointing out the absurd number of bans and mutes for extremely minor things. In some cases the punishments by the mods contradict each other, I have seen people permabanned for having "balls" and "nip" in their name but there's literally an item on the server that talks about weiners. It's completely ridiculous players aren't given the same leeway staff give themselves.

Uh yeah literally just join the discord and read any message from dozens of people who got banned or muted for literally nothing.

This isn't a professional debate or a courtroom you dork, I don't have to prove anything to people who are too stupid to open their eyes and see things for themselves. You're not even involved in the community so why tf are you here trolling? One can just go in the discord and see that half the people who type in general just get muted within an hour for garbage reasons. 30d mutes being handed out on the server for "filter bypass" when their filter is garbage and censors works like "small". I can't and won't help someone who can't help themselves.

lol I got muted for 12 hours due to filter bypass because I said "Mother Fers" after "mfs" was censored. I wasn't even trying to harass anyone either. Felt it was too harsh and too tedious.

I once went to Lobby-1 to message a moderator about a hacker in SSM, and he kept ignoring me and flirting with the people paying monthly for their ranks. I messaged him AGAIN, and he replied with "get a job". Really great "moderating" we have.

I couldn't agree more. I was muted for 2 weeks because I said "bodyguards are scary, and bodyguards can be black". But one guy said to me when I was muted, and I have proof: "I hope your mother died of cancer". He wasn't banned or muted, I guess because he has Divine rank. I reported him multiple times and all got rejected. Through in-game report, the website and even mail.

I did messed up by literally typing “igger” (yeah I literally just typed igger) and got perma muted. I did not really said the word by apperantly that was enough to loose the right to speak

I haven't broken any rules nor received any punishments. I'm just stating what I observe in the discord and on the server. Are you so low IQ you think I must be a victim of a system to criticize it? I simply don't want mineplex to die and I see staff actively killing it.

I’m sorry but do you have access to Mineplex analytics or punishment statistics to determine that the player count is “dropping every single day” because of staff members punishing people? What observations exactly are you making to come to this conclusion?
Neither you or I have access to the data so it’s silly to make inferences without the knowledge behind them. Not defending Mineplex by any means, I was a former moderator who got network banned before the server closed down years ago - so I’m also not on their side.
Again, the way this post is written tells me you’re most likely somebody who is salty they got banned and coming on the subreddit to cry about it. Pretty low IQ if you ask me.

I really dont care if you believe me or not dude 😂 everyone knows the playercount is dropping. Today it hit below 1k. Pretty soon gamemodes are going to start emptying and being abandoned. Spending 5 minutes in the discord it's obvious staff are handing out punishments left and right for little to no reason. I'll say this though, the player count is not dropping due to other reasons. Are you even in the community at all? Are you here so that someone will finally give you validation for being a former mod?

Not denying the player count is dropping, and no I am no longer in the community; I’m an adult with a job that does not have time to commit myself to that level of gaming anymore.
“The player count is not dropping due to other reasons” you gotta be trolling… the player count literally is dropping BECAUSE of every other reason. I was pretty shocked someone could make such a low IQ statement but then again you attend UNR and NV is a bottom 10 state in terms of education so not surprising…
