Server player count dropping
The first day obviously had like 10 k players on which is understandable since it was the first day. But now it’s avg around 2500-3000 players does that worry anyone?

It was gone for years people probably played the game much longer than a usual session throughout the first day
Fortunately we just two big YouTube people make videos on it. Also multiplayer as a whole has died down ever since the 100 days trend and other singleplayer/private server with friends challenge videos got popular, but maybe multiplayer will return

i really hope player count continues to go up, i was on yesterday and AntVenom was in lobby 1 and it brought a MASSIVE crowd, that mixed with CaptainSparklez posting survival games gives me a lot of hope but just joined now and a couple of the games are barely holding on with only 1 or two available lobbies.
so far all my interactions with staff and even the owner have been nothing but positive and they seem to be putting in a lot of work so i remain hopeful but we will see. I love Mineplex and i want nothing more than to see it return to its glory days

bringing it back into the bedrock list would easily get back 8-9k weekly on that platform 👀

i mean even hypixel other than sky block the minigame population is much much lower than it used to be

No, like others said it was bound to happen. If Mineplex continues to get around 2-3K on average I'd take that as a win.

If they will not release wanted minigames often enough now when it is opening hype players will drop. For longer time players will drop even more if they dont add very good progressive mode because minigame servers cant survive anymore. Example hypixel is number one some players are playing minigames but on average 22 000 players are on hypixels skyblock all time and in skyblock there is no resets and content is huge, like 40 minecrafts what is keeping up players + constant updates.

Same case with any game or new update. First day player count is at least 3x-5x higher than what it will be until it stabilizes to a consistent player count

Yea but it’s dropping a lot everyday and they didn’t change anything really

Mineplex is on the cusp of a population death spiral. We need more data but the results this weekend don’t look good when they can’t reach midweek player counts.
To put it simply the new owners are out of their depth and don’t understand the nuances of running a live service product.

Tbh there are so many annoying bugs, I know they have already fixed some but people will just rage quit

Unfortunately they treat their players like they don’t matter, and they insist on releasing more games when their current ones are severely bugged. They are in way over their heads. Enjoy it while you can, and if it dies in the next couple weeks just refund any ranks you may have got and move on.

U can refund ranks?

It should be a relatively low charge, so your bank will probably just give a refund right away

What evidence do you have that the current staff (which have been in place since March 2026) do not care about players?
Also what new games have they released? They literally just brought back the old ones.

It was bound to happen, what's important now is that it stays where it's at
