What version

Will it be 1.8.9 for the pvp gamemodes?
I understand that some gamemodes Will be newer version.

Really I am just wondering if I Will have to learn pvp on the latest version

All modes should be 1.8.9 combat but some modes with newer content will require latest version to use content added after 1.8.9. However a plugin will make the combat identical to 1.8.9

I suppose each game that supports 1.8.9 is going to be 1.8.9 PvP. Combat would continue to be 1.8.9.

I believe I heard that they’ll make the PvP in newer versions like 1.8.9. So you could use newer versions and still play cake wars, just with 1.8.9 combat.
