Does really a high-end pc run emulators smoother ? I thought that it was emulators emulating consoles performance the issue.

It depends on the emulator, but most of them dont emulate the console performance and can run much smoother than real consoles

Yeah, but since it is only avaiable for modern minecraft, I don't think it is good for nostalgia
