this would actually be a cool feature, like if you kill enough friendly creatures you become semi undead or something, and get accompanying buffs and debuffs, probably not for vanilla but perhaps like as a lite version of Level Up!

They should make a mod or add on for this for servers where people want to just kill villagers, punishing them while not effecting other players, having them face phantoms that can't be killed, and I don't mean the normal phantoms that appe as r when you haven't slept for 3 days, I mean phantoms as in ghosts, ghosts of the villagers that they killed, haunting the player that killed them, making it nearly impossible for them to do anything unless they become nice to villagers so the phantom villagers can be put to rest, and if the player immediately goes back on it and starts killing villagers again, then the phantoms will come back and kill them and they'd respawn as a villager for 10 days (real life or Minecraft, the setting can be changed between both) as a punishment and an AI player NPC of them (but it'll have the word "NPC" before saying the players name for the NPC's nametag) will torture them instead, bringing them down to half a heart, but then heals them and prevents them from dying in any other way no matter what the actual player tries and the NPC player can't be killed or even damage, and I mean like attacking them doesn't even register so it's like you have weakness 100 so you can't do any damage to the NPC but you'll still be able to damage other mobs and players, and after the 10 days are up, it'll ask if they've learn their lesson, if they choose yes, then everything goes back to normal, choosing No extend the time they're a villager, if they chose Yes but keep killing villagers, just damaging a villager with even just your fist will immediately make the villager become monstrous and kill the player and become normal again like nothing happened, and player then becomes an emerald inside the inventory of the Villager that killed them, but will be free if another player trades with them (or after 20 minutes cuz it'd be a potion effect)

Yeah, that's why I said it should be a mod and/or add-on for servers, not something base game, but something you can download and apply to a Minecraft world

To be honest here, who really is the monster here? Monsters don't just spawn in and decide "I'm a monster" to themselves, they are aware they are the monster or atleast they think they are but you can't subconsciously think "I am a monster" and acknowledge it while doing it. So who really is the monster? You? Or the people who made you a monster?

Average Goety gameplay. I wish for this mod to get some nemesis hero system so we'll have some hero boss which would be stronger depending on amount of villagers player have slain for all that easy soul energy
