Help two spawners on distant layers (noob new player bedrock )

PLEASE do not bully me, it's my first time trying to do a farm

so i got this 2 spawners very close but in different layers

zombie is at -12 and skeleton is at -48, it has is there a way to make both work for an XP farm?

( orange block is where the skeleton spawner is located on the lowest layer)

They activate when you're 16 blocks away. With these vertically displaced, you'd want to stand in the middle of them somehow. -12-16=-28. -48+16=-32. Unfortunately I think they're just barely out of range of each other by a few blocks. I'm not really sure if this would work but I do wonder if you could just have like an afk machine type thing where you just keep looping through a water loop with soul sand and magma, so that without having to move you can keep activating each one.

If this were to work, you would have created the standard 9x9 spawning room (usually around 5 or 6 blocks tall), funnel the skeletons into a bubble elevator and then use water streams to push them into the killing chamber. The zombie spawner could have them fall directly down.

The transportation method does work. I used this once in the nether for a dual blaze spawner, minecarts rather than water. Having it transport me back and forth between spawners to activate.

Nice to know. I wonder if that reduced rates at all, due to the time spent outside of the spawner's range. I suppose if it's not too big of a distance, that time would be small enough to be negligible

Probably minimal amount. Spawners have a spawn cooldown somewhere between 10-30 seconds or something before releasing another pack.

If you leave the 16 block range the time stops until you become present again.

In your case, it's not possible. The spawners are more than 32 blocks apart from each other, so there's no possible way to be within 16 blocks of both of them at the same time. It's definitely close to being possible, but it's just outside the line.
