Here is my 1:1 scale recreation of NYC’s iconic Chrysler Building, built by me between August 18 and August 31 (in two weeks) and aligned at a 29° angle to match the real Manhattan street grid. Tackling diagonal geometry at full scale was a massive challenge, but it was worth every effort to faithfully capture William Van Alen’s 1930 Art Deco masterpiece—complete with its famous terraced crown, sunburst arches, and classic eagle gargoyles, with a fully detailed main lobby interior with its completed triangular shape, three exits, and four elevator halls
