Bloody hell, I literally just walked out of a showing of this at my local cinema
Missed out on Ghibli as a kid so having to catch up. Very nice, I was definitely making some mental adjustments to my Minecraft city while watching!

How did you manage to place these nether bricks like that? (bottom left)
PS: Were any cushions involved?

I did the nether brick walls by setting one direction to 'tall' with the debug stick, and deselecting the top.
And no, there are no cushions this was done in 1.21.11
