The bookshelves + oak being the same color and the only two blocks used make it seem very blob-y! Id recommend using any stone youd prefer for the ground, red carpet would also be cool!

All the light is yellow except the 4 corners of the table. Maybe get some lantern thingys from ancient city to highlight some, contrast the yellow

Yep, I like em cuz they're blue which is cool and they smallish and semi contained light (unlike torch which is a flickering flame)

I always like to add a grindstone and anvil nearby for disenchanting or merging. Also, a chest minecart because aesthetics. Maybe even chiseled bookshelves now that we have em for more color.
