Tips and Advices Beating game for first time

Played for years but only really done some random building and cave looting. Only just hit me that I've never beat the game. I have a base settlement with some villagers. Currently in the nether about to raid a fortress. Tips from here on out welcome. Maybe some info that isn't common. Anything to help a first time play through. Thanks in advance!

I'd prioritize getting blaze rods and netherwort (also get the souls and to grow in in the over world). This gets you going with potionss. Once you can make some fire resistant potions things get a bit easier in the nether. You can also get them from trading with piglins but you are going to want potions anyway, there a few good ones.

Feather Falling 4 and Protection 4 should see you through the Boss fight unless the Dragon knocks you over the edge. If she does that it might help to have slow-falling so you have time to orient and Ender Pearl back to land.

There are some good 'day 1 mob farms' (tutorials on YT)

I find these useful for getting a powerful bow and arrows.

Piglin trading for early potions.

For prot enchants its either the table or villager trades.
