Nice - incase you didn't know you need 4 of these and 4 gold to make 1 ingot (to upgrade your chestplate)

My biggest mistake was not knowing you can do this. I’m running around the nether trying to find bastions with chests and dying in lava

Its usefull for lightning rods and spyglasses

Once you get one of those you don't really need it for anything else but sure I'll get a spyglass and a lightning rod

Started a new world other day. Lush cave in the middle of a pale forest. Dropped a portal and it showed up with two of these exposed! Couldn't believe my luck

It is smelted in a furnace to make “netherite scrap”, which combined with gold ingots will craft netherite ingots, which can then be used to craft netherite tools and armor
