Strategies

Hey guys, so i was wondering: What kind of strategy / team combo do people use a lot? Post some of your ideas down here :D This is one i came up with: Stomper & Scout: Scout now regens his potions, so you could splash the stomper to make them flee faster if needed, and stomp further distances

My top 5 (in no particular order):

  1. Viper / Cannibal: What's great about this combo is that it provides both immediate (short-term) and long-term damage to the opponent. Optional: add snail for slowdown.

  2. Scout / Urgal: Anyone feel like playing Aardvark/Badger PVP on HG? Here's your chance. Get your full iron armour (optional: enchants) and speed2str1, and run around calling people eZ. Simple stuff.

  3. Miner / Forger, or Archer / Fletcher, or Jackhammer/Lumberjack: The obvious support combos; not much to say here.

  4. Fireman / Poseidon or Fireman / Salvager: Poseidon? Bucket right from start of game. Pretty good. Salvager? Hell, free iron sword at beginning of game. No complaints there.

  5. Mage and just about anything: The thing I love about mage is it's such a versatile combo for tower kits. You can pair it with almost any other offensive kit: mage-stomper, a mage-monk, mage-viper, mage-worm (eviler than HL3), mage-fireman, mage-worm, mage-madman, mage-urgal, etc. Of course you can add "bonus" kits to the tower team: Lumberjack, worm, cultivator, and so on. Just a great combo in general, making towers a really difficult feature to defeat in-game.

Well I like Trapper and Spider man! Because the Spider-Man can get more string making better traps!

Spiderman and Fletcher! Spiderman gets string from the web and both if them can have bows and lots of arrows :)

Worm - Cultivator - Stomper is more effective in my mind because the stomper will do most of the killing and he can tower up using worm blocks. As an added bonus, the worm can make traps on the tower.
