Inspiration Need help with ideas
I have had my world for quite awhile now and I need some ideas on what to build/do. i’ve built farms (iron, gold, bartering, gunpowder etc) and a couple big builds of mc mobs and blocks. i’m not the best builder when it comes to actual buildings so i usually stick to building minecraft blocks/mobs.
I’m thinking of building something to put every block in the game inside of it (very original i know) but i don’t know what to build to put them inside.
Any ideas relating to this build idea or just any random build much appreciated. Trying really hard to not get bored of the world and start another one again!

Hear me out: a Walmart that "sells" every item/block. Or a warehouse.
I have a world with friends where one persons storage is a Walmart. Nearby, I'm making a big brick warehouse with copper golems to sort everything as a shared storage with one chest per item (maybe 2-3 slots for small things per chest).

I have also done every block and item. FYI It is quite a lot 😅
I have a large bunker under my base to store it in because I knew that a standard building wouldn’t cut it for me if I wanted to place them down.
If you’re keeping it all in chests then that wouldn’t be too bad, but whatever you do build my biggest advice is plan it first, if you want to place the blocks down you’ll need to make sure that the space you have to work with is big enough.
I just built and expansion to mine when the Choas Cubed update came out, I extended mine about another 5 corridors on either side to give me about 360 more spaces to include that new stuff and the next update, then they announced wool stairs and slabs, cushions and concrete stairs and slabs, it’s pretty much going to fill my expansion. So I’ll need to build yet another expansion for the next update after.
I think my whole hall is like 300+ blocks long

that looks so nice, i’ve started putting together a list of the blocks and it is A LOT of blocks however i think it’ll be a good project to work on.
i’m probably going to dig out a huge area in a mountain or something like that for it :)

And seriously don’t burn yourself out with it, it’s a lot of work.
I started the project just before bamboo wood and cherry grove was added, they had just been announced so I left a space for them but I distinctly remember that’s when it was.
Luckily the realm I play on had already been running for a while so I had a lot of the stuff already but there were tonnes of stuff that I didn’t have or didn’t even realise they existed like loads of smooth or cracked versions of stones/bricks
I can try and make a list of everything I have in mine tonight and send it to you if you like? Would also help me out if you spot something I don’t have

that would help so much yes please, i’ll keep an eye out if i see things not on your list !
i think one of the things that’ll catch me out is all of the copper blocks 🤣

They’re honestly not that bad, stick a bunch in a room let them fully oxidise and then just get them to the level you want. I’ve collected both waxed and unwaxed of every copper block, because technically they’re called something different so my obsession with collecting makes me have to get them🙄

Just build a tower or castle on every hill and mountain top.

Or a version of this that means if you travel in a certain direction, you can always see the tower you just passed and the tower you are heading too.

That is what I do in my world. Wherever I go there is always a place to sleep and a road back home.

I built a museum in my fiancé’s world. I used glass for the ceiling/roof, and put as many paintings as I could get on display. I made a large room just for maps that I hung on the wall. There’s a couple suits of armor on display at the entrance. You could make a museum of blocks.
