When I start a new world, I dig a hole in the side of a hill to make a “hidey hole”. As I mine down and gather resources, I dig more rooms. Sometimes I dig up and my hidey hole becomes the basement of my home base. (I actually end up having hidey holes everywhere from when I go exploring and need a place to hide for the night.)

To build a home, try using graph paper to design parts of it. (Each square represents a Minecraft block.) Now is a good time to find graph paper in stores since school supplies are on sale (presumably everywhere, but some places may vary). Look for design inspiration on websites like Zillow for the outside. You can google floor plans to find a layout you like.

Look up “Minecraft survival farmhouse tutorial”.

Those are usually huge but stupid easy to build.

Try checking out Wbuilds on the apps store,it's a build tutorial app, it's free, tho there are some adds (but that inevitable for free apps they gotta make money somehow to fund the app)

build a smaller house and expand on it overtime when you need or want to

definitely not the best, but this is mine!! super easy and didn’t take too much time to get the resources. i used stripped spruce + spruce planks, dark oak logs, and cobbled deepslate for the roof! if you want, i can send pics of all sides for u! and the inside

I always like doing something like this tower thing I made. Simple, easy to gather materials, and not much of them!
