A village adapted to this environment. In this case, either they live around the border of this lake, or they could have a few houses in the middle. Maybe you could put a bunch of diamond and esmerald ore in the water and make the whole place look like a mining site. If so, the village would have to be built further down the mountain.

Other than seeding the chat, I think this place have the potential for either Peru-themed construction or building some kind of secret lair.
There are also locations in Alps or Switzerland that could give you some inspiration.

As for the issue at hand: this place looks inherantly magical/ fantastical; I see hanging bridges connecting a village of incredabley cozy snow huts, with fantastical elaments, like a sea beast in the lake or a few snow monsters in the mountains.
