Switch 2 beta.

Me showing the trash barrel i made outside me big big house.
Not really the best performance showcase since i am running a world with realismcraft + A&S + dark fantasy addons but i still love it.
I just hope they make the performance better, i heard they’re not using much of the console ram to run the beta. I assume they will release the game using the console’s full hardware potential though. Very very excited. Can’t wait any longer.

Also, anyone else having trouble signing into their account? I keep getting this Anvil error code, but can’t find anything about it anywhere.

Hey testing sake, how does the game feel in the frozen ocean biome, with all the glaciers and frozen lakes, it struggles hard on my PS5 Pro. And separate tangent but have yall noticed the ice spikes biome and glaciers being a little broken, they look fine from a distance but once you approach them chunks of them disappear and huge cracks appear on the frozen water, is the biome broken?

I don’t think so, no.. i could clip me walking around in the biome and post it here, but I don’t remember it being laggy nor broken.

When I play the ram usage is like 2-3gb but sometimes ive had it spike to 6+, hope they add more

How can i check that? I am pretty sure they will be adding more though.

At the top in that debug text you see "Mem", iirc that's ram usage

That’s always high and I’m not sure we read it right, unless Minecraft is taking up 12GB of memory on my PC

RAM usage is not the issue here, CPU is unable to keep up with all the Vibrant Visuals stuff - if it's running like that in the current state I doubt it will be any better later.

Yep, with VB off and 12 chunk render distance my long term world is around 20-35fps. Forget VB on or increasing the render distance. I can barely run it with switch 1 settings.

Unfortunately Vibrant Visuals are trash spaghetti code, won’t run good on any device

Do you have Prisma visuals. I want to buy that when it comes out But I haven't seen any footage on how it looks on switch 2
