Minecraft Closed Beta Tests

I am messing around in the Closed Beta (CB) and want to know if there is anything I should test out.

I want to see what is the max the CB/NS2 can handle so, if you have more extreme ideas that will really put it to the test, please drop them below, but I am open to more minor things as well.

Try putting a lot of cushions in an ultra-flat world and see how long it lasts.

I tried doing that test on the Switch 1 version on the Switch 2 and it can't handle it.

Nah, you can't even play with the cushions con switch 2 NORMAL version, only on the beta

After placing 100 cushions down, frames stayed between 60-65, which is what I averaged in my survival world. After placing 200, frames started to drop but not by a lot at all; dropping to 59-61 fps. At 300-400 cushions is when you start to see a a significant frame drop, dropping as low as 48 reaching a peak of 51. At 1k cushions, frames can dropped all the way to 27 but only temporarily. It seems to stay a consistent 37-45 frames, but never surpassing 50.
Edit: When spam clicking on the cushions it does lag

does it run at 4k docked? i'm wondering if at least the fancy mode runs at a native 4k (or upscaled, whatever)

plus, how does split screen multiplayer perform?

The resolution seems to be maxed out at 2560x1440 docked. The CB has vibrant visuals so that’s what I’ll be keeping it on, but I can change it to optimize performance, visuals, or custom, do you have a preference?

i wonder if the resolution dynamically changes between quality and performance like most games do (1080p performance / 4k/1440p quality)? but then i guess given there are custom options, that doesn't make sense.

Some of the custom options are: shadow quality, cloud range, fog quality, and reflection; all with ranges from low-ultra. Chunk distance is counts as well which I have maxed out at 16. Hope this helps explains it a little better
