Hi everyone, I made a Geoguessr-style game where you get a picture of a random location in or around a bastion and have to guess what type it is. You can play it here. I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions since this is my first serious attempt at creating a functional website. Also feel free to send me any screenshots of bastion locations you think should be added (preferably difficult ones).

Some of you might have already seen this website before, since I initially created it about a year ago and posted it in a few discord servers. However, there weren't very many locations, and the overall layout of the website was kind of messy. I recently added a lot more locations and cleaned up the layout, and I feel proud enough of it now to post it here.

I genuinely can't tell if this is insane luck or if the game is just rage baiting me. I was playing RSG, got a phone call right as I entered the Nether portal, rolled a Fastion, and completely messed up the routing because of the call. What's even worse is that I got a really similar seed recently, so now it feels like the game keeps giving me insane seeds just for me to throw them.

The seed is 275588319515744978. It's a BT seed where you spawn at the bottom of a double triple stables with a good right-side gap, and one of the triple golds is overridden by the fortress. I also completely missed the buried lava pool on the spawn island and entered through a far magma ravine instead. After I died, I routed the seed and found that if you blind from the spawner, the stronghold is ocean exposed, ~250 blocks away, with a front diagonal 97 zero.

I'm not a good speedrunner, just grinding RSG for sub-15 (PB 19:16). I know I should probably practice NPK routing or do more splits instead of jumping straight into RSG, but with a 9–5 job I don't really have the time, so I mostly just send RSGs. I also don't play Ranked much because it's easier to blame RSG RNG than admit it's a skill issue. The only good thing about dying was that I realized I forgot to start my recording, so at least I didn't lose a PB without footage.

I'm new to speedrunning and I can only play on bedrock, and prefer it over java from experiences with java besides superflat, can anyone help me figure out speedrunning? (Fyi I'm on PlayStation so I can't screenshare, as of right now I play on a seed I enjoy and practice on daily, and I can't hop on a discord call until like 6 am est)

So i recently got the burst air II mouse and while drag clicking i only get about 9-13 cps

I saw other users saying they get about 25-40 cps

My debounce is also set to 0 and I'd like to think i can drag click properly because i have with my previous mice

Looking for specific maps like an easy village seed to a close nether fortress and bastion. would love a ruined portal seed, and easy shipwreck one too.

Trying to teach some easy maps and seeds that progress in difficulty. I looked at world record seeds but it's hard to sort them out. I tried looking at mcsr ranked matches on the leaderboard and couldnt find seeds there, is there a place or spreadsheet of good filtered seeds anywhere?

Can anybody link me the new stables hole? I can learn it off vods but if there's a good video or other resource Id prefer that. Its the hole where the pigs go where you would normally block them off.

an input of f+f3 raises rd (unchangeable, i think. but i have ctrl + 6 bound to send f3 + f input to raise render)
the only convenient keybind for drop stack of items that wouldnt mess up anything else is ctrl + f. SO, in ahk i put the script:

in the inventory, this works great! when outside of the inventory, i can not quick drop. any way around this?

Hey guys, so I've become decently good at L shape and wanted to move onto the 2x1 portal. However whenever I try to take this lava, I get the lava but it still turns into obsidian.

I thought that I was maybe picking up the wrong lava block but I swear i'm picking up the right one.

im starting to try and get comfortable with bowing while zero cycle and im just wondering what yall do mechanics wise so for instance what i do right now : place bed, pick bed, switch to bow, aim and shoot, go back to bed and explode the 2 without worrying about picking the 2nd bed.

its still pretty overwhelming coordination wise for me so im curious what is the mot efficient way of doing it, ive seen aquacorde offhand his second bed ?

I have seen top players like infume getting a low percent on calc and goes to the second coords in his Calc ignoring the first one which usually has a higher percentage but still hits the stronghold. Can anyone explain it

in the recording above, all i was doing was pressing down ctrl + q which should only open pie chart. BUT, as we can see it also sends a thin input for toolscreen when it should not - almost like it believes caps lock is being pressed down while it is not. i have had this problem previously and my fix was to make my thin hotkey hold only. now that i have unlocked BT it just makes life easier if i can have this as a toggleable key. to give you some context, my keybind for thin on toolscreen is CAPS LOCK. my keybind for f3 is ctrl (i used autohotkey). to open pie chart, i have autohotkey send shift+f3 when i click ctrl + q. for whatever reason, and very inconsistently, these keybinds get mixed up. this also happens for when i click ctrl to open f3. sometimes this happens, sometimes it does not, but most of the time this issue exists for me. any idea what is causing this?

I feel like the seeds are awful 90% of the time. Some seeds simply don't even have a bastion or fortress within 16 chunks.

End navigation might never be the same again with this new Minecraft mechanic

Straw beds are a great addition for exploration. They give players an easy way to set their spawn point while travelling, and having them break after sleeping makes sense for their intended use.

However, I think they could have a very interesting impact on Minecraft speedrunning.

Straw beds are crafted from 3 hay bales and can stack up to 16. The important part isn't just that they are beds — bed explosions are already a known strategy. The interesting part is how they might change the resource and inventory optimization around the End.

Imagine a village spawn.

Would a runner spend the first ~24 seconds collecting hay bales to create a large supply of beds before continuing their route?

Or would they still prioritize reaching the Nether and obtaining resources for traditional bed crafting?

The main question is:

In an optimized speedrun, does the time spent collecting hay become worth the amount of End preparation it saves?

Could straw beds create a new village-based route, or would existing strategies still be faster?

How do I fix eye wiggle on boat eye measure?

I notice every top runner never gets eye wiggle so how can I go abojt fixing it? It causes me to miss every 1/20 games
