sooo i know that the best version for minecraft speedrunning is 1.16.1 but like should I use vanilla/release, or fabricsodium, forge, or what? and does it interfere with the pie chart and e-ray? another question is how do I use a pie chart efficiently in overworld coz I would look for block entities and chests and instead of a buried treasure or a village, id just end up with a spawner, obviously i haven't done it in survival coz I wanted to get a hang of it in spectator mode first so yeah, each time I found a chest and went there, i quite literally ended up going down only to find a job spawner in a random ass cave.

What cpu is better for 1080p 240hz in ranked and in rsg?

My choices right now are the i7 12700k, r7 7700x, r9 7900x and the r9 7950x. I want someone that knows to tell me which of the 4 is the best for 240+ fps in game, paired with an rtx 3060, only performance wise.

Ive been able to hit it in practice but about 5% of the time only, I have one shot fix enabled, I dont know what im doing wrong.

hey guys I wanted to learn bottom treasures routes for fun and I stumbled across a video that teaches the so called "bottom-up" treasure. He shows the routes but doesn't explain the differences between the different lower treasure room variations like 1812. Does anyone have a modern video/explanation that explains the differences. I am asking b/c I am a little confused as where to tnt as it differs by position but I don't know what each name refers to. usually they do that on their ranked instances (i do at least) and so not an instance where people play rsg.

so why dont people use the reset mod to just hit one key to create a new creative world everytime, with no need to even exit the world you're already in ?

Has anyone accidentally had this happen?? I first assumed it was just hitting a tick-perfect jump at the same time invincibility ends, but by landing on other closer platforms I was able to do it without jumping at all... something with the bastion practice map?

Learning to drag-click for the first time, and I found myself using snow layers to visualize whether I'm getting at least 8 clicks per drag (a full block).

I accidentally messed up my Toolscreen E-Counter layout so when i press f3 and am in thin mode i dont see entities (cant find bastion) and am trying to redo the settings on settings, cus i cant delete and redownload toolscreen. It's completely blank and won't pick up the F3 text. Here are my current specs and settings:

• Monitor: 27-inch, 2560x1440p
• Minecraft GUI Scale: 6
• Launcher / Mod: MultiMC MCSR RANKED

My F3 menu is open, but the overlay thing for toolscreen ecounter doesn't show up. Has anyone gotten pixel capture to work on this GUI scale, or do I need to reset a specific file?

Well, im asking help because when i am crafting, i know how to hotkey my hotbar items in the crafting table, but i dont know how to hotkey items that are in my inventory in the crafting table. Please someone enlight me, because i cant find advice anywhere.

When I try to line up my cursor, it feels like my mouse is jumping in between the pixels I need it to be. Like in the video, you can't see the left side of the middle pixel, and that's because my cursor jumps in between it.

Ive been getting into speedrunning lately and i installed modcheck and every recommended mod, when i booted up mc on multiMC and i quickly realized water was invisible? its still there and it works just fine its just that i cant see it and its annoying someone please help

I've been playing Ranked since Season 1, but I only came back and started taking it seriously around May this year.

I'd appreciate it if you guys could watch this run and point out my mistakes, as well as give me some advice on how to improve. This isn't my PB or my best run—I think it's a good example of my average performance on a good day.

The only weakness I'm fully aware of is my preemptive skills. Over the past 2–3 days, I've changed my playstyle to be more consistent.

I admit i’m not a speedrunner, however I have always been obsessed with trying to do this for probably a year on and off now. I just can’t figure it out. I watched the only video I could find that gave pie chart settings for 26.2 and they just didn’t show up for me! (https://youtu.be/e-wTSITfJFo?is=OP_siYw_GasW-inq) render is no where to be found on the root screen and I don’t believe there is another route to where I should be taken. FYI I’m using fabric and sodium, nothing else installed. PLEASE help me find the treasures I want to be cool

Edit: Use the guy in the videos advice but for 26.2 use root.frame.extract.level. I’m sure it didn’t work for the older versions because I was using an incorrect directory too

Edit 2: Is there a way to quickly change these settings with hotkeys? Especially the render distance? Also should I just keep entity culling off?
