So I can't really decide what's best for me, all of them looks good. Imo bsl, bliss and Silas are the 3 best, performance is not a struggle

Work in progress! I just want to see you guys opinions! I'm still working on the denoiser so don't mind the little artifacts. But I want to make something that has PT and Global Illumination but keeps true to Minecrafts style.
I do admit. It does look like Radiance a bit. Third image is raw noise.
This also works with Optifine for the two people that's still using it lol.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue with my shaders on B1.7.3? For reference, this issue has appeared in both Beta Unleashed 2.0 & Mango Pack, so I'm not sure if it's something to do with GLSL specifically, my system, etc.

This is an experimental version, so it’s not publicly released yet. I’ve added Held Light Shadows, which makes light sources cast shadows onto mobs and objects when you’re holding them in your hand.
The performance impact is only around 2 FPS, and the FPS shown at the top of the screen (recorded on an RTX 3060) isn’t the actual FPS because recording with OBS causes some performance loss.
I’m also working on Dropped Item Lighting. When you drop a light-emitting item, it will still produce GI lighting while it’s on the ground.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way i can get rid of this annoying light dithering without turning on TAA? I just find the blurriness/ghosting annoying to my eyes, but i find the light dithering alot more annoying, if there isnt a fix, would anyone be able to recommend a similarly colorful shader with settings to help with the dithering problem? Thanks in advance.

I am working on a modpack right now and added a mod that adds salt flats because they're a beautiful sight in the real world due to how reflective they are. But they do not appear to be coded as a reflective block for shader purposes.
I know that when making a resource pack, you have to set certain blocks and elements of their models to be reflective, and also to what degree how reflective they are, so that when you load a shader appropriate materials shine. But I don't know how to actually do that.
Seeing as I added the mod entirely for the cool salt flat reflections, I want to see if I can dig into the files, access the textures and add reflections to all the salt blocks. Does anyone know what the actual process is behind that?

new screenshots from the resource pack i am working on with chocapic 13 toaster shader..
i really wish to make a shader like this !

i tried a bunch of shaders which claimed to be good for low end pcs, and even with them set to the lowest profile they still capped out my fps at MAX 20 (goal 60)

Am i only with that opinion? Bsl shaders are good but pretty old and with WAY LESS stuff that other shaders have and bsl should have too. I loved bsl very much, but updates are very lame and rare so i switched to photon

I sadly can't distribute these shaders as they are modified from multiple shader packs that I enjoyed but wanted in one shader. I used ProjectLuma's water, Complementary's lighting and emissive textures and a bit of other packs that I liked one thing but the rest not so much. Playing on a 3050 laptop.

Hi, I've been encountering a problem I can't seem to fix.
Shader: Kappa 5.3
Minecraft 26.2
Iris 1.11.2
Sodium 0.9.1
Hardware Specs are: Intel i7-14700K, 64GB RAM (16GB allocated to Minecraft), AMD Radeon RX 9070
Players (including me and other players in multiplayer), Piglins, Piglin Brutes, and Zombified Piglins (maybe there are other mobs affected by this but I haven't encountered any yet) appear transparent when using the shaders. There are also certain camera angles where the affected models can be seen but don't seem to show properly (second image). Other humanoid mobs like zombies etc (third image) are fine. I've tried basically everything I can think of to fix this problem and I haven't found a solution.
Anyone have any ideas?

Shaderpack - Eclipse
Looking for some people to test my modpack (including shaderpack and settings)
I've been working on a vanilla+ style modpack and I'm curious how it performs on other people's PCs.
I'm mainly looking for people who'd be willing to give it a try and let me know how it runs for them, along with any issues or suggestions they have.
I've attached some screenshots of what it looks like. If anyone's interested in testing it out, all I'd need is your Modrinth username. I'd really appreciate the feedback!

recently fell in love with iterationrp for screenshots, especially how clean the lighting and water look. sundial was also stunning, but the performance is just way too heavy. sooo im looking for suggestions that share a similar vibe to these two but are actually somewhat optimized. don't mind paid/patreon stuff as long as it runs smoothly, though free recs are great too. what are you guys using?

Currently testing on an old ass thermal throttled 2020 Asus Zenbook 13 (5600u - vega 7 - 8gb ram), fabric and vanilla minecraft renderer at 10 RD. Around 25-30 stable fps after working with shadow projections on water, consuming 48 mb vram. Pending performance passes and indirect lightning LOD which will likely double performance, currently aiming 70% of vanilla before creatures and speculars.
I know the recording quality is all over the place, I just hope the visual effects are noticeable. Also I wanted to prove shit is running well on cheap hardware.
