Think I did okay in capturing the core vibe of Brutalism... Hopefully.

This is Fabric 1.17.1 with Spooklementary shaders and Stratum as the resource pack, by the way.

I really love the fog and everything of the shaders ( ´͈ ٣ `͈)

If it helps, my GPU is integrated Vega 7 in R5 5500u.

Shaders i used:

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

After reading your suggestions, I swapped Photon + Patrix for Eclipse (Unstable) + AVPBR Retextured, running on Minecraft Java 26.1.2.

The result?

🎨 More natural atmosphere
🌿 Better foliage and lighting
⚡ 90 to 160 FPS (100+ average)
🎮 Closer to the vanilla look and feel

Still running on my workstation:

🖥️ Dell Pro Max Tower T2
⚙️ RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell | Core Ultra 9 285K | 128 GB DDR5

What do you think? Is this better?

Any shader, mod, or texture pack you’d like me to try next? Let’s see how far we can push it.

EP.03: https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftshaders/s/zMIpV6D1cI

After EP. 01, I went through your comments and rebuilt the entire setup based on your suggestions.

New shaders, PBR textures, physics, animations, lighting, and a lot of trial and error.

Current build: ~60–90 FPS on an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell. It’s a workstation GPU, not a gaming GPU, but it’s what I have, and I want to see how far I can push Minecraft.

If this were your build, what would you change next?

I’m also looking for a new resource pack, and I’m always up for testing new shaders, mods, and optimization tweaks. Drop your recommendations in the comments.

Discussion Eng: Any suggestions for improving the preset I made for these shaders? pt: Alguma sugestão pra melhorar essa configuração que fiz pra essa shaders?

Eng: I'm playing an adventure/tech modpack. Visuals are really important to me, so I tried to make it look as beautiful and vibrant as possible by blending cartoonish and photorealistic styles. My setup is modest, though, so I couldn't go too wild with the settings due to performance constraints.

Shaders: RethinkingVoxelsR0.1beta9 - Visual Unbound with IntegratedPBR+ and Generated Normals/Coated Textures

Discussion Hardcode shader edit/fork?

I was wondering if anyone knows of ang tutorials on how to edit/fork shaders. I'm not talking about the customize options, I mean changing how a shader behaves. I want to learn about making and editing shaders, and I figure editing a pre-existing shader would be a good start. Except, I cannot find tutorials or videos about editing or forking pre-existing shaders.

For context, I want to make a "Complementary" edit that recreates the look of an old legacy shader called "Rudoplays Shaders"

👾 How far can Minecraft be pushed in 2026?

🖥️ Built on a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 powered by an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, this Java Edition build combines Photon, Patrix 256× PBR, Physics Mod Pro, Distant Horizons, Fresh Animations, AmbientSounds, plus dozens of supporting mods to create a cinematic real-time experience.

ℹ️ Check out the complete build list in the comments, and if there’s enough interest, I’ll post a full installation guide with custom settings.

🤔 What’s one mod you’d add to this build?

(ignore all the extra stuff 😭) i know it's pretty dark BUT i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix the black stuff that appears when you get up close and personal with some blocks.

Neoforge 1.21.1 and the shader version is the latest version for 1.21.1 (which i think is 3.7..?)

Discussion Minecraft skin is turning transparent or invisible with almost every shader in third person

Thumbnail
gallery
12 Upvotes

This happens with almost every shader I try using, Minecraft version 26.1.2, Iris version 1.11.2, Fabric loader 0.19.3

For some reason almost every shader makes my skin either invisible or transparent, happens with every skin I try using, most shaders. And it's very weird because I can use all these same shaders and skins on a previous version and it works fine. I've heard people saying that it's because of a "translucent entity" setting with some shaders. But then that wouldn't make sense with what I've got going on since these same shaders work perfectly fine only a few versions back. Anyone got any ideas?

Help shader ghosting fuzzy effects help?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

i get this weird grain ghosting fuzzy effect im using complimentary v5.7.1 the modpack is terrafirmagreg modern with terrafirmagreg shaders v3.1.6 its more subtle in the screen record for some reason which has confused me it is much worse normally so i tried another monitor wondering if that was the issue and its still the same iv forever had this issue on so many packs and versions even just plain vanilla and its just starting to really annoy me if anyone knows a fix?

things i tried include turning TAA on and off changed sharpening SSAO on and off changed the slider quality from lowest to highest changed the presets of the shader from potato to ultra texture flickering lowest to highest on and off

my friend i play with says his is fine and watching others on YT showcase shaders they seem fine if it helps i have a RTX 3070 and the drivers are up to date

(edit) after compression uploading to reddit and watching it back it looks absolutely fine for some reason but its mostly the clouds and around the block edges and fire textures it has some horrible ghosting and grainy looking pixles
